  • What is ASMR?
    ASMR, or Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, refers to the tingling, relaxing sensation that some people experience in response to specific gentle sounds, sights, or touches. Common ASMR triggers include soft-spoken voices, light tapping, brushing sounds, or delicate personal attention. Many find ASMR soothing, as it promotes calmness and can even help with sleep, offering a sense of comfort and relaxation through sensory engagement.
  • How should I dress and/or style my hair for a session?
    If you are going to have a full spa experience or the back-only session, you should wear comfortable clothing that is layered. Sessions take place fully clothed, so wearing a sports bra/bra/bralette, tank top, or other type of garment that allows access to your back, arms, and upper chest is best. The back-only session is eligible for complete clothing removal from the waist up based on your comfort level. In those cases, you will be face down on the massage table and a comfortable blanket will be placed over you for modesty's sake. If you have signed up for the 'Above the Shoulders' only experience, then we encourage you to have your hair loose and free. Extensions, braids, cornrows, and any protective styles are absolutely welcomed, though the artist will modify the experience so as not to undo or disturb the hair's arrangement.
  • Who is this service best suited for?
    ASMR can be a wonderful experience for many people! Our sessions are gentle, respectful, and designed to offer caring, non-invasive relaxation. However, they do involve physical touch and soft sounds, which may feel too intimate or overstimulating for some. Please consider your comfort with these elements to ensure that this is the right choice for your relaxation needs. During the session, you’ll be asked to lie on your back or stomach on an esthetician's table. If you have specific physical needs or are pregnant, please contact us ahead of time, and we’ll be happy to discuss any possible accommodations.
  • How do you keep things clean?
    Most of the items used are disposable, so clients receive fresh and new tools during their sessions. For reusable items, we sanitize them thoroughly with medical grade solvents in between clients.
  • Can I speak to the artist during my session?...or have silence?
    Absolutely! The practitioner is here to make your experience as comfortable as possible and offers three session options: Whisper & Affirmation Journey – Enjoy an interactive experience where you’re encouraged with affirmations, compliments, and gentle guidance. You’re welcome to respond as you feel. Minimal Guidance Journey – Speaking is limited to brief notices when the trigger or touch type is about to change. Silent Journey – A quiet experience where speaking only occurs if necessary for safety. Choose the option that feels best for you, and we’ll tailor your session accordingly!
  • Is the artist licensed?
    Our ASMR artist is not licensed by a governing body, as ASMR is a non-invasive, relaxation-focused art form rather than a medical or therapeutic practice. Sessions involve only light, soothing touches and organic materials such as cotton, wood, jade, linens, and simple metals. No potential skin irritants are used and the artist does not perform any massage, lymphatic drainage, or other certified techniques. This ensures a gentle, calming experience purely for relaxation, free from any regulated or clinical procedures. By booking a session, you acknowledge and assume all risks associated with this service and do not hold the artist liable.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    As a small business owner, I truly appreciate your support and understanding with booking and managing appointments. I know that life can be unpredictable, and I never aim to penalize anyone for last-minute changes. However, to ensure the health of my business, I’ve implemented a cancellation policy to help me manage my limited hours effectively. If an appointment is canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, a 50% cancellation fee will be applied. I strive to be as accommodating and flexible as possible. If you need to make a last-minute change for a booking made on short notice, I’ll do my best to work with you. During slower weekends or when I have open availability, I may be able to offer more leniency if there’s no one else waiting to book that time. Thank you for your support and understanding. These guidelines allow me to manage my time effectively and continue providing you with the best service possible.
